What is Vitamin B2?

Vitamin B2 is an essential vitamin found in both plant and animal sources. It is required to absorb nutrients as well as to help maintain tissue.

What does Vitamin B2 do?

Vitamin B2 helps maintain energy. It helps convert carbohydrates to adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which stores energy in muscles.

U.S RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) for Vitamin B2

As a water soluble vitamin, it's difficult to exceed safe amounts of this vitamin, however the there is a recommended allowance based upon age.
