What is Vitamin B1?

Vitamin B1(thiamin) converts blood sugar to energy. It works in the body to support the nervous, cardiovascular and and muscular systems.

Vitamin B1 is a water soluble vitamin which passes through the system (not stored in the body like fat soluble vitamins).

Food sources of Vitamin B1 are wheat, peas, beans and fish.

What does Vitamin B1 Do?

Vitamin B1 helps to keep the mucus membranes health and supports the nervous system as well. Vitamin B1 is a part of the B family which are often termed the "energy vitamins", as they are essential for creating energy within the body.
